Topland look for opportunities to add value generating significant risk-adjusted returns either on a leveraged or unleveraged basis. Topland will consider a broad range of lot sizes, with previous transactions ranging from £1m up to hundreds of millions of pounds.

Sale & Leaseback 

Topland specialises in innovative sale and leaseback transactions which provides flexibility to tenants and has proved popular with major corporates – deals include a £200m transaction with a major discount supermarket chain, as well as sale and leasebacks with Interserve, Hays, Littlewoods, Tibbett & Britten Group and Budgens. Other high profile deals for Topland were the acquisition of 33 supermarkets and two distribution centres from Tesco PLC and 78 stores from Marks & Spencer PLC.

Topland also has an established track record of investing in Europe. The Group concluded a €361m sale and leaseback comprising twelve hypermarkets with the retailer Eroski Sociedad Co-operativa in Spain.
