Residential Development – Wentworth, Surrey 

Topland with Urban Exposure acquired a prime 3.4 acre site known as Dawn Hill on the Wentworth Estate in Surrey. The joint venture company plans to build a 25,000 sq ft mansion, with a GDV in excess of £30m. Topland has recently secured an increase in the planning permission to 28,000 sq ft.

 

Hotel Development - The Event City Hotel, Trafford, Manchester 

Topland Group has begun construction of its first hotel development in Manchester in partnership with Marick Real Estate and Mill Lane Estates. The Event City Hotel will be branded as a Holiday Inn Express and operated by Tower Hotel Management which is part of the Peel Group. The 220 bed hotel sits opposite, and will be the preferred partner hotel for Event City, the third largest exhibition arena in the UK.

The Topland-led partnership follows the companies successful collaboration on the construction of a 209-bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel at London City Airport, for which Topland provided Marick and Mill Lane with a £22 million development finance facility.
