Hospitality

Topland owns a mix of leased and owner-operated Hotels throughout the UK.

Our operational estate includes the luxurious Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa in Bath, in addition to the iconic Brighton Double Tree by Hilton. Our leased estate includes a portfolio of hotels located in Prime Central London and the landmark Hilton Glasgow. We are continually seeking to deploy equity into what we see as a long-term, resilient sector.

Topland Group also invests in retail across several sub-sectors including high street, F&B, out-of-town and supermarkets. As an early mover into the large-scale supermarket sale & leaseback sector, we have transacted on over £2.5bn in value over several major portfolios with Marks & Spencer, Tesco, and Aldi. Our recent acquisitions have targeted high-quality, resilient retail locations across the UK, underpinned by investment grade tenants.

Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa
Bath

The Royal Crescent Hotel is located on one of the most famous crescents in the world. Built between 1767 and 1775 and designed by John Wood the Younger, it remains one of the greatest examples of Georgian architecture in the UK.

Doubletree by Hilton Brighton Metropole
Brighton

Located on Brighton’s famous seafront, the Doubletree by Hilton Brighton Metropole was originally designed by Royal Gold Medal winning architect, Alfred Waterhouse, in 1890. We have undertaken major refurbishment works to ensure the hotel remains the City’s premium offering for years to come.

Hilton Glasgow
Glasgow

Situated in Glasgow City Centre, this iconic 20-story hotel was the Hilton Hotel Group’s first foray into the city. The building has been occupied by the brand for over 30 years.

Thistle Portfolio
London

Topland Group acquired a Central London hotel portfolio occupied on long leases by Thistle. The estate comprises four prime hotel assets located in Hyde Park, Piccadilly, Bloomsbury and Barbican. We acquired this portfolio for our income mandate in addition to the possible future optionality for alternative uses.
