Tom Betts

Director – Structured Finance

Tom is a member of the Group’s Investment Committee and main Board and leads the Structured Finance division of the Group. Tom has been with Topland since 2000, bringing over three decades of experience to the business. Tom set up the Group’s lending division in 2014, deploying over £1 billion in loans to date and establishing Topland as a key player in the alternative lenders market. Prior to joining Topland Tom held senior finance roles in both Barclays Bank Plc and Aviva.

Charlie Latimer

Structured Finance Manager

Charlie is a Chartered Planning and Development Surveyor, having joined Topland in early 2018. Starting his career with Berkeley Homes as a Land Buyer, Charlie has worked in development and bridging finance for over a decade. Offering structured debt and equity, Charlie has funded a broad range of deals, including hotels, leisure, offices and residential, with various land and infrastructure deals also completed to date.

Antony Iannaccone

Director – Structured Finance Team

Antony is a Director within the Structured Finance Team and a member of the Group Investment Committee, having joined Topland in 2012. Antony has 25 years of property finance experience across private equity joint venture funding, banking, principal investment, and property development. During his career, Antony has advised and led on a broad range of real estate investment and development transactions and has over 5 years of bank restructuring experience.

James Conolly

Senior Manager

James has 15 years of Real Estate experience across a variety of roles and asset classes. He began his career with Nat West group as part of their Graduate programme in 2008 and since then has had exposure to bilateral and syndicated loans as well as regulated lending. Prior to joining Topland, James worked at Credit-Suisse as part of their Wealth Management Team. He is a member of the Associated Property Lender, a Chartered Banker and is CFA qualified.

Investment and Development Manager

Tom is Investment and Development Manager within the Structured Finance Team, responsible for originating and managing both debt and equity investments. Tom has worked on projects involving strategic land loans, residential JVs, development land loans, education loans, supported living JVs and co-lending projects. Tom has been with the Topland Group for over 5 years.

Structured Finance Manager

Anish is a senior member of the structured finance team, having joined the Topland Group in 2021 from Pluto. Anish has involvement across the full deal cycle, from origination to redemption. Having been involved in real estate transactions of over £600M, Anish has established strong relationships with developers, intermediaries, and professionals across the real estate industry.
